Sargent Cypress, Hesperocyparis sargentii, is native to a wider range, our seed was collected in the hills of Marin County, CA. The foliage is finer than both Santa Cruz and Monterey, with a strong scent and tiny sap dots that are visible in summer. The species is largely unexplored as a bonsai subject.
