Mini Kishu Juniper #242

This series of 'Kishu' junipers is from a batch Eric has been slow-growing to be mame. Started in 2019, they have been wired multiple times most with some deadwood added and movement meant for a tiny composition. Recently styled, we are offering them in nursery containers so you can choose your own pots!

Junipers are hardy, love full sun and can grow quickly under hot and humid conditions. Water daily during the growing season, fertilize regularly. Protect from temperatures below 32 degrees F, like all bonsai. 

Mini Bonsai are slightly more challenging to care for than trees in containers 3" or larger.  We recommend that you use a humidity tray or a tray of sand/lava to keep the base cool in hot weather and/or allow escape rooting during the growing season. For more info see the video below!
