Showing the characteristic oil-fired sheen of modern Japanese potter Mitunobu Ito, this piece pushes the traditional Japanese ceramic aesthetic while evoking the traditional "duck pot" feeling of antique Chinese ceramics. Ito is from Shikokuchuo (Ehime Prefecture, Japan). Interior: 4-4.75" diameter at rim, 1.25-2" deep.

My experience with the company was great. Actually, they sent the wrong pot the first time, but once I pointed it out they were quick to solve the problem. This pot, the one I intended, is very cool! I love the simplicity and the artistry was on point. If shipping wasn't so expensive I'd be buying a lot more from here! To their credit, they allowed me to keep the incorrect pot and then didn't charge me for shipping on the correct pot, very generous (thanks!)!
