Mini Kishu Juniper #5

Left untouched by human hands out in the wild, Juniper trees grow and can thrive in pretty harsh conditions. Growth on "Kishu" is shorter and tighter in places with cool summer weather (like high elevation, or coastal). 

Junipers are hardy, love full sun and can grow quickly under hot and humid conditions. Water daily during the growing season, fertilize regularly. Protect from temperatures below 32 degrees F, like all bonsai. 

Mini Bonsai are slightly more challenging to care for than trees in containers 3" or larger.  We recommend that you use a humidity tray or a tray of sand/lava to keep the base cool in hot weather and/or allow escape rooting during the growing season. For more info see the video below!
